The Process
1. Initial Consultation
Your Journey begins with a Complimentary consultation, where we take the time to understand your ideas, style and vision for the perfect ring.
Whether you arrive with inspiration images, sketches or simply an idea, our team will guide you through your options - from the overall design and precious metal to selecting the perfect diamond or gemstone.
Once we've brought your ideas together, we'll prepare a detailed quote for your custom engagement ring.
2. Design
With your vision in mind, our team will begin bringing your engagement ring to life. We'll refine the details and create personalised design concepts, including hand-drawn sketches, allowing you to visualise your ring before it is beautifully crafted.
3. Choosing your Stone
With your design taking shape, Gina will personally guide you through selecting the perfect diamond or gemstone for your ring. Drawing on her experience and eye for quality, she carefully selects stones for their beauty, brilliance, and individual character.
Together, you'll find the stone that perfectly complements your design and makes your engagement ring truly your own.
4. CAD Design
Once your stone is selected, we'll create a detailed 3D CAD design of your ring, allowing you to view and perfect every detail before it's crafted.
We can also design your wedding band alongside it to ensure a beautiful seamless fit.
5. Crafting your Ring
Once your design is approved, our skilled in-house Jewellers will bring your ring to life with care, precision and exceptional craftmanship. Your bespoke piece will be ready within approximately 6-8 weeks from the date of order.
6. The Unveiling
The moment you've been waiting for - seeing your finished engagement ring for the very first time. You'll be invited back to GMW Jewellery to experience your vision brought to life, beautifully crafted with care, precision, and attention to every detail.
We'll take the time to talk you through caring for your new ring and answer any questions you may have. Then, it's yours to take home - ready for one of life's most unforgettable moments and the beginning of an exciting new chapter together.
